tipitty toeing on life, looking for takers!

howdy folks!
this is not a tour guide of sorts, but in a way, yeah…the unofficial chronicles of someone’s who’s heart broken.
i managed to sum this up after having a really long chat with this guy friend of mine over a big stein of orange juice. its a huge glass alright, as in Godzilla like in size….and orange juice? i’m now in an overdose of vitamin c! anyway…back to the chronicles…
so this friend of mine, great guy alright. but he kinda got mixed up with the wrong kinda girl. for starters, or rather spoilers, here’s what he went through…
1. guy meets girl, girl meets guy. same people, same time, same place.
2. sparks (or so it seems) fly from this guy. he’s hooked! she looks interested(but for what???)
3. guy approaches her to be a friend(it all starts this way right?), girl says okay…rest is history…guy dreams and dreams and dreams of things so lovely…sigh
4. guy throws himself into helpingher out whenever he could, attention is now 1000% (yes, thousand) on the girl. sigh again…love’s in the air.
5. girl responds, after like 256 dates and gazzilions of hours spent on the phone (over okay, way too over here)
6.guy dream’s intensifies, to the point of settling down and things like that…soppy romantic, terrible idealist.
7. girl acts strange, controls the guy’s life…nice and cute at first, then irritating and annoying (oh, oh…).
8. guy tries to be no push over, girl intensifies grip, then guy becomes a thinker…
9. guy starts to find out more about the girl..then the ugly truth comes out…
10. girl was using the guy as a stop-gap method. has another boyfriend, probably engaged (heck, could even be married
zoom in to the present…
here we have subject 123456, with beard to match santa and downlook in life. sad, but true.
my question is… was he lead on by the girl? and why did he not see the tell tales early. his answer was, the girl seemed so true.
another question (to the readers, of course), is why do girls especially lead the guys on into an emotional bond?
debatable, and can be viewed as being a sexist comment, but thats what happened to the poor soul…
and all i could think at that time was…how in heavens sake am i going to finish this gigantic glass of orange juice without making a fool of myself? hahahahaha…
i shall leave these questions unanswered at the moment. but if someone does come up with an answer, no matter how subjective they can be, just write it down. at least i wont make the same mistake twice right? or was it thrice? or always? sigh…
cheers everyone….
plain joe, drunk on orange juice.

Dude, definitely being used. On behalf of the fairer sex, I apologize to your friend. Anyway, the girl’s is not worth it, find a nicer one.
