tipitty toeing on life, looking for takers!
<
greetings readers.
recently, a public outcry on the court decision over a guy who was found guilty of abusing his pet, a dog, which lead into the canine to be put to sleep by the authorities to end its suffering, was, yes; RM 100.00. yes, you read the decimals right. only a hundred ringgit to let you off the hook.
life, be it animals or humans or plants, are not our plaything. no matter how much we try, that’s one thing that we leave nature to. its, for one, immoral just to take the life out of another just because we like it so. secondly, hey, you wanna play god, go get yourself a computer, get the cheats, and wallah. its sick, perverted, and totally not humane to do so.
there are two issues that i would like you to think about here. one, is a hundred ringgit the true value of an animal’s life, just because its not human? then what about a human life worth then? how can we justify the price tag given by the courts of justice? justice for man? this one was best thrown into the drain. it didn’t serve its purpose. justice down the drain, stale and rotten.
secondly, if we can feel sympathetic for the poor abused animal and put it to sleep, in the name of ending its suffering and misery, what about doing the same to our fellow human beings? think about it, at least we can save the hospital space, medical costs, etc. sick ain’t it? looking for a gun to shoot me? I’m looking for one myself. if you think it was inhumane to do so, then what about doing the same to the animals? just because they don’t have lawyers representing them in the courts, we take life for granted. think about it people.
we live in an animistic world. the world is a huge jungle. only now, we’re the blood thirsty predators, not the originals. we ruthlessly take life for granted, and we’ve been given the age old recipe for life sustenance which reads, if its not human, its okay to end their lives.
they have feelings too. just like us. spare them from being mercilessly hunted and exterminated by the animals called homo sapiens. civilised, efficient, ruthless killing machines we’ve become. not only we kill them on the physical side, but even in our daily conduct and our society’s dogmas and way of life too.
if only they could just talk….
plain Joe….shotgun proof…
