greetings!
there’s a place we all dwell in whenever our hearts sinks deep into the pits. and mind you, love lost or found is not the only reason why it sinks in too. at times, hopelessness, cease of excitement, even loss of something or someone close to our heart does the same thing to us. now, where;s this place? where’s this wonderland?
now why wonderland? wonderland, because we alone live there. wonderland, because for once, we’re left to ourselves to think and ponder. wonderland, because its the very essence of what we’re trying to escape. and, wonderland, because not even God can get you back if you don’t want to.
sadly, wonderlands are also mental dumping ground for the weak. its a parasite that slowly lives off the constant escapist acts, feeding of mindless and restless souls and in turn, not returning them to their rightful owner. everything that pleasures the senses, if taken on an overdose, can result in a dependence towards it and ultimately, replacing even air as a means for basic survival.
but why bother leaving that desirable wonderland? because, wonderlands, are only a temporary pit stop, a purgatory of sorts. you don’t wanna live your lives rotting in a purgatory, same goes to your private little shop o horrors. wonderland can be a scary place to live in, for there where logic takes a back seat and spontaneous combustion of the heart and soul happens without any damage control. so there’s no stop to the damage once its done and set in motion?
there is…..and its only in you.
you decide what you’re gonna do after the dismissal of your fears. take your own time, but if its deemed necessary, help will be provided, that’s if you ask for it. again, it all boils down to the individual. swim, or be sunk.
